Ignite Your Wild Side.

Whether you're a mob of meerkats or a flock of geese, there is something for your family to do at the Zoo!  Each month there's a special topic you'll explore and as a family through up close animal encounters, and special activities to learn more about our wonderful world and the animals that live here.

Cost: $20 for Zoo members per family of 4, additional children are $7 each
$35 for non-members per family of 4 (including Zoo admission), additional children are $7 each.
(A family includes 2 adults and 2 kids; additional children are $7 each). Program costs may vary with special program offerings.

Programs are tailored for families with children ages 5 and over. Younger children are welcome but may need extra help with activities.

When registering please choose between Saturday and Sunday’s class.

Glorious Gorillas

Bring your “troop” to the zoo to meet Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s gorillas. We will explore what makes gorillas so fascinating and what a typical gorilla family looks like!

King of the Jungle

Why is the lion thought of as being the “King of the Jungle”? Join us as we explore what it is like to be a lion through activities and visiting our very own pride of lions here at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Giant Giraffes

There is no other animal at our zoo that reaches as great of heights as our giraffes.  Bring your family to the zoo and explore with us what it would be like to be as tall as a giraffe.

Hoofing around the Zoo
August, 18th, 2012      1:30pm-2:30pm
Join us this class as we explore some of our hoofed animals that live right here in our zoo!  We will learn how they are all unique and why they have those hooves on their feet.
