Go Walking in the Moonlight.
Come see the Zoo in a different light – by Moonlight!! Even when the Zoo is closed to regular visitors, there's plenty to see. Enjoy dinner and a private tour of the Zoo led by one of our education staff. Find out what many of the animals do once the Zoo closes. Choose one of our scheduled Moonlight Safaris, or choose your own safari date. When you explore the Zoo in the evening, you'll see the animals in a whole new light.
Note: Kids must be at least 3 years old to participate in Moonlight Safaris with adults. Kids Only Moonlight Safaris are for kids 5 and up.
Pre-scheduled Moonlight Safaris (online registration)
Pre-scheduled Moonlight Safaris give you or your group the opportunity to join others on a Moonlight Safari at the Zoo. Meet new people and participate in planned activities!

| Feb 11 | Valentine's Moonlight Safari | Love is in the air as we explore the zoo at night and discover all about animals in the zoo! Bring your family, friends, and all loved ones to this night that is sure to be a sweet time! After dinner, we will roam the zoo, make a fun craft, and more! Join us on our Valentine’s exploration! Kids must be 3 years or older to participate. |

| Mar 17 | Kids Only All Things Green |
It may be night time, but we will be exploring all things green at the zoo during this St. Patrick’s Day tour! Drop off the kids and let them discover all that they can about the amazing animals and plants that live green! We will see reptiles, amphibians, cool plants, and more on this exciting evening tour. Dinner, crafts, games and more will accompany the fun- and we will learn all that it takes to be green! Kids must be 5 years or older to participate. |

| Apr 21 | Earth Day Moonlight Safari | For this family evening tour, we will focus on the amazing planet we call Earth! From the animals that live here, to the conservation efforts the zoo is participating in, we will learn all there is about taking care of the place we know as home and what we can do to help. Make a recycled craft and discover what actions the zoo is doing to inspire conservation. After dinner, see the zoo by night in this exciting Earth Day safari! |
