Summer Education Internship (Paid)
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Education Department is looking for creative, enthusiastic, responsible and hardworking individuals interested in environmental and conservation education and being outside working with children throughout the year. This job will vary from 10-32 hours a week, including weekends, overnights, extensive walking, spending time outside in all weather and working with children on a daily basis. Full-time Horticulturist
The Zoo is looking for a hardworking individual for an entry level construction and garden maintenance position. Knowledge and experience with gardening, and construction equipment or landscape equipment a plus. Knowledge and experience with plants, irrigation systems, or greenhouse management a plus. Snow removal experience a plus. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather, and work a regular schedule that includes some weekend hours. Zoo Crew Supervisors
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Education Department is looking for two mature, hard-working people to be supervisors/trainers for our teen volunteers in our Zoo Crew program. Pay: $8.50/hour. Must enjoy working with young adults ages 11-17. Must be CPR/first aid certified. Good organizational and motivational skills a must. Past experience with teens preferred. Membership Sales Booth Representative
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is looking for outgoing, computer savvy individuals to work in our membership sales booth during Spring Break and the summer. This position requires exceptional customer service skills to provide the best experience for our members. The Membership Sales Booth Representative will check in members on our POS system and sell memberships to new and renewing members.
