Marketing Director
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is searching for a creative and energetic Marketing Director. This position is responsible for building attendance and image for the Zoo by developing and administering comprehensive marketing and public relations programs. Head Veterinarian
The Colorado Springs area offers a wonderful quality of life and the Zoo offers a flexible and supportive work environment. The zoo houses approximately 750 specimens with over 30 SSP species. The veterinary department consists of the Director of Conservation and Animal Health, a full-time Hospital Manager and full-time Veterinary Technician. This position is a member of the Zoo's Senior Staff and is in charge of the Animal Health Center, staff and the zoo's animal health program. The recently built Animal Health Center is well equipped including a new ambulance vehicle. The Head Veterinarian reports to the Director of Conservation and Animal Health, Della Garelle, DVM. There are opportunities to develop, manage or participate in several conservation and field programs. The qualified candidate will have earned a DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution and be able to obtain a Colorado license, state accreditation and DEA registration within 6 months of employment. Preference is given to veterinarians with at least 3 years clinical experience in a zoo setting. Compensation is comparable and commensurate with training and experience of the candidate and includes an option for on-grounds housing. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a private non-profit institution and is an equal opportunity employer that offers a generous benefits package.

Maintenance Technician
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (CMZ) is searching for a qualified and committed Maintenance Technician to join our team of excellent Professional, Preventative, and Responsive Problem-Solvers! As a member of this great team you will be responsible for integrating, repairing, and maintaining all CMZ facilities, equipment, vehicles, and the SkyRide aerial tramway.
