Some animals express their creative abilities with art during their training sessions, as they learn a variety of behaviors! Just like all of their other training, CMZoo keepers use positive reinforcement during the process of painting. Each animal artist is taught how to paint by receiving treats as they learn the steps (i.e. holding a paintbrush, touching the brush to paper, or walking through paint trays and onto paper). The results are beautiful pieces of art!
